Acrobat Class

The kids have started an acrobat/circus class. It is the coolest thing. It is a mix of gymnastics, dance and drama. They love it! I wish there was something like this when I was growing up. So far they have done work on the tight rope, the trapeze, the rolling globe...which is basically learning to walk on a ball, and the ceiling rope...which is a precursor to ribbon dancing which you may have seen if you've ever gone to Cirque du Soleil or something like that. Last night they started with juggling. They are picking it up really fast!

Technical Difficulties

Train Show

We only got to pop into the train show for just a minute. Our weekend didn't quite go as planned, but we had promised the kids we would go, so we had to take a quick run of the exhibits. Of course the Lego train setup was by far Dane's favorite! I thought the Starbucks freight cars were quite cute. :)

My niece had her baby Monday night. He is a beautiful baby boy. He weighed 8 lbs, 3 ounces! Wow!

Future Entrepreneur

The other day Dane decided to setup this sale all on his own accord. He wanted to earn money to buy a new Lego. He set it up, labeled all his stuff, put up signs and sat there for a good portion of the day. He actually earned enough to buy the Lego he wanted! I was really impressed that he showed so much initiative!
