Movin Out
Brent and I went and saw "Movin Out" on Wednesday night. I am a big Billy Joel fan and have always loved his music. The show was so much fun and the dancers were brilliant. I was really taken with the second lead female. She was so graceful and light on her feet. It was quite an amazing performance! Watch clip on YouTube:

Peking Acrobats
We took the kids to see The Peking Acrobats at the Pantages over the weekend. It was a great show! The stunts were absolutely amazing. Watch clip from YouTube:

Flooding, Road closures, Evacuations, and Car accidents
Well, as of my last post I thought 2009 was going to be a bit mellow. Um...not so much! We had record rainfall and I-5 as well as all the mountain passes were closed due to flooding and avalanches. So basically if you lived in Western Washington you were trapped in a box. Also locally 410 was closed as well as 161. Some 20,000 + people had to be evacuated from Orting! I would never live in Orting...that place is just a disaster waiting to happen. On top of all that I was in an accident driving my Mom's car. What is worse then being in a car accident? Being in one in your parent's car! I felt horrible. :( It wasn't my fault, thankfully. I was at the post office and had backed out and out of the blue some crazy guy just backs up and smashes right into me! He felt really bad and said he just didn't see me. His insurance has been really easy to deal with and I wasn't injured, so that's good. So, I guess this year is starting off to be just as crazy as the rest. Cheers!

First Day of 2009
Slept in. It's very quiet in the house. The kids are still asleep because the fireworks kept them up last night. Brent is still at work. Hope 2009 will be much more mellow then 2008. Looks like we're off to a good start. :)
